2010 | 3 years ago A fair few months ago I begged a fellow British scallywag from north west London to create a dubstep track using samples from Napoleon Dynamite, and little did I know how seriously he took my request until a mere few days later I was being sent the file ‘Large Talons.mp3’ via MSN messenger.
Dr. Pepps is his name, dubstep is his game, and this is my claim to fame:
“Dr.Pepps: 4 u felice <3”.
Check out this immense tune, I can safely say it was my ‘cheer up track’ of late 2009.

2010 | 3 years ago For anyone unfamiliar with LIFE4LAND, allow us to open your eyes to a “party collective / record label / group of separate musicians working together” known as Ed Cox, Stivs, Ghost, M.D.S, Jahba, Monsta, Twice 19, Scamp & Scrawn, Mental Arithmetek & Mudguts.
Having seen these guys live after being brought up around the festival event ‘Strawberry Fair’ in Cambridge, I can say through first hand experience they will melt your mind with both their originality and flavour, as well as copious events and shows. Producing breakcore, experimental, IDM, jungle, ragga-jungle and raggacore, if you’re a raver with a taste for mess, these are your guys.
To introduce you to the madness that is LIFE4LAND, here is a video of Ed Cox busking in the center of my home town.

2010 | 3 years ago I’m actually a little surprised at myself for taking this long to write a entry about the team at cannabeatz.net, so I decided to take the time to introduce you all to the radio station itself and the endless incredible mixes featured on the website.
These cats are extremely passionate about dubstep and extremely good at what they do. I’m friends with the likes of Jungle Visionary, Revue and Circuit personally (although, it has been a while), and in the time I’ve known them, every mix they have produced has blown my mind. Revue being relatively new to the cannabeatz family itself, he’s definitely outdone himself with his recent production ‘Four Elements’ and Vol. 17.
Not only are these guys modest, they’ve created a huge selection of mixes available for free download that will keep you on the edge of your seat licking your sub for hours.
I also want to give a shout out to Mr. Dank who has literally been a platform for me to meet and hang out with these guys, as well as being a huge part of the magic himself.
